Dichroic Borosillicate Glass Beauty…

Dragon Aura by Expired ConvictionsI took a handful of (not-the-greatest :P) photos of my dichroic boro glass Sea Dragon, which just arrived in the mail this week. One of the better ones, with some playing around, resulted in this. It’s kind of pretty… :)

Taking photos of dichroic glass is purportedly always exciting / fun since, among other things, it reflects three colours (if I remember correctly). This is one of the most interesting objects I have ever photographed. This pendant is my first taste of dichroic boro beauty, and it emphatically won’t be my last.

Au NaturelThis gorgeous Sea Dragon was fashioned by Jeff Welsh over at Lampwork Designs. Many more unique and indescribably beautiful pieces can be found there for your purchase or simply viewing pleasure.

Addendum! I threw the pendant into the scanner for kicks, and all I can say is … WOW!

This drivel was extracted on Sunday, February 25th, 2007 at the ridiculous hour of 11:55 am and is piled under digital art, images, pics, discovery, beauty, dichroic, borosillicate, jewellery. You can follow any protests to this extraction through the RSS 2.0 feed. You can protest, or trackback from your own world.
