On my Left Sidebar and Other Design Flaws/Fluxes…

Left Sidebar: STILL oh-so-disorganized and a bit aimless (just like me! :P ) :!:

But never fear, widgetisation for the left coming soon as my time (and learning curve! :P ) permit! It’s nice to have widgets back… (memories of Blogger…).

Thank you (~coughs~ in advance!) for your patience with my ‘fiddling’, my loyal fan

I tell myself every day that I should have commited to a concrete design before ‘getting it all going’, but I have realised, for better or for worse (!), that my newly-reawakened insatiable lust for knowledge and bettering myself is (for now!) here to stay. The ‘drought of numbness / oblivion / Dopamax+’ didn’t help, but is serving as an admirable contrast to the ‘zest for life’ I feel now.

As one of my docs said today, “Let’s hope this isn’t a ‘honeymoon phase’…” (paraphrasing - my doctor is not as ‘dr. doom’ as I am, but he’s very realistic and calls me on all of my bullshit, which helps tremendously). Er… how did I get here?

Behold! The ‘Art’ ~gag~ of Discursiveness. I’ll reorganise / reintegrate over time, with trials, naturally. So the ‘net despises sites that are always in constant flux design-wise… ~shrugs~ not my problem at the moment. You see ads here, but they’re more of an experiment with coding issues around styling various elements, trial and error with this or that company, yadda. Okay, I’m done disclaiming. Really.

Now, if you haven’t already become addicted to this game… heheheh: WOOHOO!

This drivel was extracted on Tuesday, March 13th, 2007 at the ridiculous hour of 1:49 am and is piled under contemplation, introspection, outrospection, conundrum, confessions, coding WOAHS, art in content hmm, design flux, game addictive. You can follow any protests to this extraction through the RSS 2.0 feed. You can protest, or trackback from your own world.

I think that partly comes from the joy of jumping in with both feet. If we plan too much, we usually place expectations on things…if we just do it and see what happens we are more often delighted and less often disappointed.

You go girl! Am thrilled to watch you and this site growing with such creative intelligence, wisdom and humour.

I am wondering what she is drinking in the pictcha …I suspect a poem is nearby - you know, like they always are , hanging around the corners spitting text here and there ….

“Into the valley of six lemonades
    Rode the bubble hundreds
Swishing this side and swishing that
Some were so fine and silver
Just like the ones upon our cat ! ”

That one came through by po-lepathy to make us into a giggle gang.

Go go go ! Dudette’s rule because they’re cool !

Ah, but what if it is? A honeymoon means you just made a lifelong commitment and is a celebration of and a reveling in.

Yes, there is a let down emotionally afterwards but it’s a more of a settling into and finally being comfortable with.

The ending of a honeymoon is merely accepting that the party is over and its time to get on with the business of simply being.

    Whatever that means. :P

Kick at the darkness...
