Some Fave Items on My Dirty Balcony

Some favourite things

They’re so cute.

Two distinct pieces of labradorite (the shinier one from here in Ottawa and the other is a piece of artisanat français from a shop along the Québec wine trail), and an adorable little hippo rescued and brought back to me by one of my best friends, Def. She’s got fantastic taste to begin with, and even more so when she’s gifting one of us friends or family members. She’s not in this picture.

But maybe I’ll succeed in snapping a really fabulous one of her. Someday? I figure I’ll get an, “In your dreams, girl!” at best.

Or I could try commissioning a friend with a much better camera. Say, a Nikon D80 digital SLR or something! (A camera which is definitely, “In my dreams!”).

Fortunately for those pretty little things, the Dirty Balcony is not their primary residence…!

    Hahah - naughty hippo pics. I agree - let’s not!

    I’m doing okay - ups and downs, but fairly stable lately. Just the “ack! Need a job, stat!” is weighing over me, but it’ll likely go a lot smoother if I just calm down about it. ;)

    I hope you’re doing better and expect me soon! ;D
